The Spider's Web... Empty The Spider's Web...

Was thinking that I kind of like the Tholians (at least the TOS and TNG references; I didn't really get in to Enterprise much).

A development involving a Tholian-inspired new race would be fun, maybe some sort of web-laying weapon and perhaps a web cannon that simply throws web at an enemy vessel like gladiators used to throw nets.
